Prospective PhD Students

The Aging Well Laboratory (AWL) at The University of Texas at Dallas (PI: Kendra Seaman) is seeking applications from prospective graduate students starting in Fall 2022.

The AWL is dedicated to better understanding how the socioemotional and neurobiological changes associated with aging impact decision making. Using basic and translational scientific research studies, our ultimate goal is to promote health and wellbeing across adulthood. Candidates should apply to the Cognition and Neuroscience PhD Program through the UT Dallas Graduate Admissions Office. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in psychology, neuroscience, cognitive science, or a related field. The application deadline in December 1, 2021. Applicants are encouraged to read the Aging Well Lab Manual and contact the PI in advance with a CV and brief description of their research interests.
