Dr. Denise C. Park Selected to Present the 2020 Polykarp Kusch Lecture on April 9 at the Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center

DALLAS – Feb. 28, 2020 – Dr. Denise C. Park, Director of Research at CVL, UT Regents’ Scholar and Distinguished University Chair in Behavioral and Brain Sciences has will be presenting The Amazing Aging Mind: A Scientific Journey at this year’s Polykarp Kusch Lecture.  The lecture will take place at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 9 at the Davidson-Gundy Alumni Center.

The Kusch Lecture is the university’s highest recognition of one of its senior faculty members, the awardees being chosen by deans of the university on the criteria of comprehensive excellence as scholar, teacher, and citizen.  The lecture series was established by UT Dallas in 1982 after Dr. Polykarp Kusch, Nobel laureate in physics in 1955 and UT Dallas Regental Professor from 1972 – 1982, retired.  The theme of the annual lectures is “Concerns of the Lively Mind” to honor Dr. Kusch.
